Meet Temi
This is Vanessa Collins with your Weekly Tech Tip. As you guys know, in addition to being a certified digital marketing strategist, I am an author, publishing and writing coach. One of the biggest excuses I hear from aspiring authors as to why they have not completed their books is because they don’t like to write. They don’t have time to sit at the computer and type. Well, I am about to blow that excuse out of the water. Meet my little friend, Temi.
Temi.com is an advanced speech to text transcription software. It’s fast (usually finishes in about 5 minutes), it’s cheap ($0.10 per minute) and it’s super convenient. You can upload video, audio or even the URL to your Facebook Lives or YouTube videos.
Listen, it is not perfect. If you want perfect, you will need to invest in a service that cost around $1 per minute. Temi is about 90-95% accurate which is great since you have to edit it anyway. Temi is great for helping you get that rough draft out of your head and on to paper.
