Linktree Digital Marketing Strategy

Hello, this is Vanessa Collins, your Certified Digital Marketing Specialist with your Weekly Tech Tip. If you use Instagram at all for your business, you are probably familiar with Linktree (Linktr.ee). As you know, you only get one link in IG and that link is in your profile. Linktree is a platform that allows you to connect several links to the one link that is allotted. It is sort of like a landing page for your links.

Once you sign up for Linktree (you must have an Instagram account to do so), you can add your links to that account. For instance, you may want to add a link to your website, one to your podcast and maybe another one to your book on Amazon. Have a lead magnet or a class you are promoting? You can add a link to that as well. Are you a musician with your music on Soundcloud? Add those links as well. When people click your one Linktree link, it will go to a page that has your IG profile pix and links you added.

Want to add a special ninja trick? Use your Linktree outside of Instagram. Instead of listing a ton of different links when you speak, connect a vanity URL to your Linktree link.
